MKEF at Brzee Foundation

Location: Brzee foundation, K R Puram
Date: 25th October
Conducted by: Metanoia Kleos Empowerment Foundation
Session Lead: Sneha Sengupta, COO MKEF

Metanoia Kleos Empowerment Foundation (MKEF) recently conducted a transformative mental health workshop at the Brzee Foundation. Our mission during this workshop was to equip the children of the foundation with the knowledge and understanding of our five core pillars: recognizing safe versus unsafe touch, understanding bullying, identifying signs of depression, overcoming low self-esteem, and nurturing self-care practices.

The interactive session engaged the children in meaningful conversations around the importance of mental health. Through open dialogue and educational activities, we guided them in exploring each of these pillars, emphasizing their impact on personal well-being and resilience. The children responded with enthusiasm and insight, demonstrating their understanding of personal safety and boundaries, the importance of kindness, and the harmful consequences of bullying.

In addition to addressing the need for empathy and respect, MKEF helped the children recognize and understand the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety, fostering an environment where they felt safe to express their feelings and concerns. By encouraging self-care practices and fostering open conversations, we aimed to boost their self-esteem, reinforcing that self-worth is essential for personal growth and confidence.

This workshop was a significant step in MKEF’s mission to empower young minds, guiding them toward emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-awareness. We are proud to have created a space for learning and self-discovery, laying the foundation for the children to grow into mindful, compassionate individuals who value mental well-being.
